IDEN CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 11
What a fantastic turn out for this meeting, nearly all groups were full, with brilliant weather for the day. This meeting being the final round of the championship meant it was very important for everyone , collecting those all important points to finish the summer championship and get their respective places, giving us some great racing during the three blocks on the day .
Once again the track team provided fantastic track conditions which held up all day ensuring a good days racing for all, with the guys working through lunch to keep it maintained for the afternoon blocks.
Unfortunately there were a few accidents which the clerk of the course felt warranted a red flag for the safety of the riders, and to enable the medics to treat them under safe conditions, as they could not be moved from the track straight away. Thank you to those who did adhere to the waved yellow flags and slow down near the incidents, but there were a fair few who didn’t! Waved yellow means slow down No overtaking, anyone seen doing either of these will have points removed as done on previous occasions.
The clerk of the course had to recall all the riders from the BW/SW group to have a stern talk about not slowing down under waved yellow flags .so please remember the safety codes of the flags and slow down, this is for your safety as well!
Well done to all the people who dealt with the incidents so quickly and efficiently, ensuring every ones safety.
The club would like to send their best to the couple of injured riders and wish them a speedy recovery.
THE TEAM EVENT UPDATE 2009
Billie has had confirmation that the A teams have been accepted into the event by the ACU but unfortunately they were unable to secure a place for the B teams. Thank you for all the riders that were prepared to go and represent the club and we are sorry we couldn't take you all due to the ACU only having a limited amount of spaces for the teams.
Billie has also ordered the team shirts in blue for all riders attending the team event,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors of our team shirts DEMON MX and K & S RACING for supporting our club and riders alike.
If any one has any other queries regarding the team event contact Billie the event manager or Nick Shaw the team manager who will endeavour to help you.

THE PRESENTATION DINNER SATURDAY 28th NOVEMBER 2009
This years annual presentation awards is to be held at the AZUR, The Marina Pavilion on Hastings Sea Front (St Leonards on Sea). This was one of the original venues used in previous years by the committee and it has recently been completely refurbished, with spectacular views across the sea, so were going back to our roots.
This has been a fantastic year for the club and its members so what better way to finish it than to come to the presentation evening, enjoying the great food, and then have your trophy presented to you by our special guest. Finishing off the evening dancing the night away to the sounds of our very own DJ, Nick Shaw with an extended licence to 1.30am if you are all up for it.
